End of the Week:

This week we were able to finish constructing our robot and currently have it running and prepared to take on this challenge.  Last week we got a 120/100 on the challenge and hope to beat that considering there is no max points that we can get, however many points we can achieve is how much will have out of 100, and are going to be able to do the official run today.

Beginning of the week: Final Run for this Quarter

This week we have to continue modifying our robot to prepare for one last challenge before the end of the quarter. This challenge will take place on Friday 12/13 and follows the same structure and run as did the challenge that was due on Friday 12/6. During this run however we will be allowed to score as many points as possible within the allotted time which can greatly improve our grade.

End of the Week: BIG Accomplishments

So far in this week we were able to complete a lot in terms of the robot.  The robot only requires some minor adjustments until it's complete which means we are progressing with the reconstruction very well and should be on target with the due date for the full FTC Challenge.  The robot is currently running and we are just trying to perfect the run for the grade.

Beginning of the Week: Full FTC Challenge

This week we have to complete a full run of the FTC challenge on Friday Dec. 6. Our grade will be based on our score in the challenge. Then we have to do the same thing again, on Friday Dec. 13 for another grade. Before then, we have to continue reconstructing our robot as we have been the last few weeks. Our goal is to have the robot fully prepared for the challenges by this Friday. This includes the autonomous program and all the components to complete the run.

End of the week: That's all for this week!

Due to no school on Wed. – Fri. this post is today (Tuesday)

This week as stated in our first post is cut short. We, in these two days have continued in the remodeling of our robot and have made some progress although it has not been completed yet. When we finish we will look to complete the challenges we have too and prepare to get in into position for a complete run.

Beginning of the week: Thanksgiving
Juan working on the robot

This week is only 2 days (including today) long due to Thanksgiving break. In these two days we look to continue reconstructing our robot so it fits the size requirements, and then proceed to make sure we can complete the previous challenges as well as prepare it for future ones.

End of the Week: Reconstruction Progress

This week we have been remodeling the robot chassis.  In order to do this we took the robot completely apart.  You may see this as a setback, but we have made sure to keep the main pieces of the robot intact although they just aren't on the robot. We haven't completed the ten blocks and balance the pendulum in one minute challenge as of yet because of this, but in the end we hope to have our robot performing better than before. We also have worked on the code in ROBOTC.
